    hi both of you thanks for your welcome message nice to see that people are there to help you integrate the group or whatever its called haha.

    I have been doing quite well… been 2 weeks this week i am taking vyvanse, the first day was amazing i had all the focus and concentrate i didnt have in years… days after that i was fell in a kind of lethargy state… i really dont understand what that was all about … anyway since 2 or 3 days the medication is doing its magic giving me some focus and concentration (at last) i dont fall a sleep all the time like i used to.

    Anyway i dont feel the meds are at their full capacity and i will be talking with my psychiatrist to readjust it to a higher dose because i feel and know i could have a much better focus and concentration.

    I am starting a new job on monday and i am pretty nervous about it as to know if i will be able to concentrate and work properly as i lost two jobs already because of my lack of focus and concentration…

    Anyway the ADD world is a unknown world to me and I am discovering it situation by situation…

    yeah the first day i was like SUPERWOMAN and had SO MUCH focus and concentration … but on day 2 and day 3 didnt get the focus i was suppose to get i am very lunatic…

    kind of stuff i do as well, for example i am putting away the dishes from the dishwasher and i tell myself DONT CLOSE THE DOOR DONT CLOSE THE DOOR.. and what do I do? i freaking close the door.

     

    i so often forget words, thats one of my main problems like i would have a great idea to say or write and BANG all of the sudden i cant remember what i was about to say or write, its so annoying lol

     

    I should keep a journal of all the crazy things i do lol yesterday when i read all the post i finally realized that yeah i have ADD i do the freaking same things all the time since my teen years.

    I feel less alone now 🙂 And i feel less guilty about taking meds, thank god!

    Hi,

     

    thank you for your reply, actually i completely lost appetite since i started i have to force myself to eat because if i dont i dont eat at all. I dont have a weight balance at home so i guess ill have to wait next month for my next appointement with my psychiatrist.

    wanderquest can you tell what did you notice the first times you took vyvanse, the changes etc.

    csteinke so how is thing since you saw the doctor?

    maybe the down mood you have is due to the season it is normal at this time of the year.

    Do you take any anti-depressants? I do Wellbutrin xl and prozac to make sure i dont get any depressed moments because i had a major depression not so long ago ( i am not bipolar ) I started vyvanse 2 days ago … i noticed more focus but i still often loose touch with things… maybe its too early for me to notice a difference.

    Hi all

    i am new here … i couldnt concentrate on all the post before this one … is there any specific subject you are talking about?

    I just found out i have ADD and started vyvanse 2 days ago… hum i dont know what to say now…

     

    im such a noob for these kind of things (forums etc) i never know what to say but i want to talk and learn stuff or whatever…

    anyway ill come back later and maybe start a conversation with you guys

    Hi,

    i can recognize myself in most of what is written (right there before i wrote ”what” i couldnt remember what i was gonna write) … well there you go thats a example …

    I too when i leave the house or even when i have to go in the other room i check the stove, 1,2,3,10 times to make sure its off… it drives me nuts when i do it and i have to convince myself that its turned off…

     

    In the middle of a conversation i often ask the person infront of me ”what was i talking about”

     

    Cleaning the house … i start something and then do something else and always fnish late because i cant finish what i first did in the first place…

    When i am thinking at some point i get this blank in my head where i dont even know what i was thinking about…

    so there you are those are some examples…

    I started vyvanse 30 mg only 2 days ago… I hope it helps me.
