Short term memory… Long term memory… What is the difference and how are each affected by ADHD?

An ADHD specialist explained it to me in clear, concise terms. It was something about a part of the brain or a neuro-thingee. Or was it about asbestos? No that was something else. We rented a house that had asbestos insulation. And we learned it’s not really harmful if you don’t disturb it. Being a rental I was inclined to ignore it.
