Someone earlier said “Rick is a genius”…… yes, that is correct. At least in my opinion – whatever that may be worth in today’s U.S.D. converted to Canadian.
I thought he was a creative genius when I first saw him years ago on a crazy TV show with Iowans fell in love with – I thought who the heck is that absolutely crazy person? I like him! Then I noticed the credits, and later did my “I’m bored, my list is long, I dunno where to start so I won’t” thing and started looking things up – and I got more impressed.
Lucky for us all that his creative genius and nice-guy personality shines right through that ADHD thing. Who knows, maybe it’s why he can relate, and I can relate – when you got it, you understand it (if you try – don’t you have that phrase?)
Thank goodness not only geniuses, but generous geniuses care and prove it in places like this. I come here when I need to confirm I’m not REALLY weird or crazy, I was just drawn that way….

OK, can’t edit – or find edit button but I’m lost anyway. It’s supposed to be “hate” that phrase, not “have”, I never could spell and it’s worse when my brain moves faster than the old fingers do.

Thanks Rick. I came out here looking for answers to several questions and here they were in just the right sized chunk I can now go process. Later……

Before I listen to the recording, can you tell me about the lamp behind you? It is very interesting.
    Thank you,
    Kathy

    Hi Rick,
I figured out what the lamp was. It’s a monkey, right? It’s very cute.
I also listened to the video and really like the way you whittled down what you really wanted! That is something to think about.
I always check this site and love the webinars and videos you put together. Thanks for being there all the time for us!
    Happy New Year!!!
    Kathy K.
    I really like that lamp!

    Hi Rick
Once again you have given a simple and elegant example for digging through the layers to figure out our actual goal. This is going to help me get to the nitty gritty when my brain is stuck.
Thank you for this quick easy video tool.

Holy $%#@, and I’m not easily impressed. I’ve been a career counsellor and corporate trainer/speaker since Wooly Mammoths grazed in my backyard. Rick did wonders clarifying the goals he REALLY wants, and how to realistically achieve them. Confusing ourselves about “If I Had Million Dollars” is so easy that the Barenaked Ladies recorded a song about it (not an easy thing to do.) Once we “get” what’s really driving us, making reasonable and achievable plans (like Rick did here) is pretty simple, and plans like this give us real power to make our dreams come true. (Unless of course we’d rather fart away our money and time on empty wishes and lottery tickets.)
