    I feel like they are attacking me again when I went off work i was afraid i would use my truck as a weapon and run those bas—ds down maybee thats what needs to happen so they know there are thing that hapen when they are mean and unfair and pick on people just because they can. if i ran one of them over that would make them think.i have to stop writing because i am just getting all worked up again.

    Hi trashman, was away at a sleep study last night and today – I hope you just enjoyed that thought but didn’t act on it. Somewhere someone must be able to help you legally, did you try any of the suggestions for legal aid? how did work go? I agree, they are probably waiting for you to quit.

    well update my psychiatrist was very upset with how my short term insurance company was treating me and wrote up my appeal . it was great watching someone else getting upset instead of me,and for me she took my class1 licence so now I can’t drive anymore its a little scary but . the right decision .

    Hi trashman, that’s very good news, I think, especially getting someone on your side to go to bat for you.

    I can relate to the no driving, last week the sleep specialist told me I have textbook narcolepsy (sleep disorder) and said “don’t drive”. He didn’t have to report me to the Ministry of Transportation yet because he didn’t have sleep study reports and I wasn’t in treatment, but presumably that’s coming because it’s mandatory for him to report narcolepsy. It was really hard being a passenger, but now I am getting used to it, it’s a big loss of freedom, must be harder for you since you drive for a living, but I bet your company will be asked to accommodate your disability somehow.

    When I think about it, I should definitely be off the road until I’m treated.

    I am so happy to hear that you are not alone, and that you are getting the support you require from your dr. I know it won’t be an easy road ahead for you (or any of us for that matter), but having folks on your side is validating and less daunting.

    Thanks lucky ,I feel so good that someone believes me I am not alone and do not have to fight this all alone .

    I just want to thank all of you people out there for all the support i don’t know if i would have been able to keep fighting without all of you.

    just an update. my doctors letter helped Ifinaly got paid and Ihave also been aproved for the disability tax credit. so my wife has filled out the paper work and asked them to reasass are taxes, going as far back to 2001. we have asked them to apply to hers or mine depending from who’s return wood give us the best return.so here’s hoping for a good check in the mail. anyway thanks for all your support.it just feels good to know that there is a group of people that undersand my struggle.

    I haven’t been on for a couple days and was excited when I saw this thread under recent activity, hoping for some good news.

    Sounds like things are rolling and you are getting some awesome support from folks in your world.

    I agree, the peeps that take part in the forums help us all by sharing experiences and ideas. I guess it helps to not feel so alone!

    my doctor took my drivers because of all my meds and my inatention and my angermanagement concerns. so I understand why,but it is still hard to come to terms with.
