I benefitted at school because in grade one and two , this is back in 86/87- they weren’t as keen on the inclusion model. Instead I spent half days Ina smaller special Ed class and half day in the regular class room. I think this really helped me because it allowed me to both have that key one On one time with my teacher in the special Ed class- there were like at the max 8 of us at onetime, and I got to learn how to interact in the larger classroom setting. Personally I am not a fan on the ” inclusion” model and mourn the loss of decent special education department budgets
REPORT ABUSEMy window seems to be five years and right now I’m heading into the final semester of school meaning I’ll be returning to the real world work force again anti scared shitless. I love school I excel at school but the real world is a different story. I’m frightened too that my patterns will repeat themselves and I five years I’ll be back where I started.
