Haha, I was the one who pulled stuff apart to “fix”. Plus I lived right near my grandma and aunty so it was easy to find something naughty to eat or a computer to play games on.

I still remember smashing a computer studies test in my final year of high school, I missed t he test and did it a day late, teacher couldn’t believe I finished in half a period when everyone else needed extra time for the last question; I need a program to do x and y, write the pseudo code…

Hyper sensitive and a bit dense all at the same time, either missed or misread many a scenario in my time.

Don’t expect special treatment for constantly being late at work either, but I go on leave and they need 2 people to cover for me, then I cover anyone who’s missing. (Paperwork might be shit but important stuff gets done). Just sayin…

It’s feeling good to be here. ;-)

Haha knifey spooney no more with our lame nanny state government, can’t even carry my leatherman without worrying about cops asking why I need it, forget folder.

Our toilets flush very different from what I know about US toilets, I assume Canadian one’s are similar so it’s more that water spirals into a drain in the opposite direction (swaps at the equator, might get the chance to test it ON the equator some day)

And don’t remember the last time I saw Fosters at a bottle shop.

Love to see my report from back then too. “Can do anything he sets his mind to” *sigh*

Good response distractomom, I think there is a difference between the self righteous snide behaviour of front line receptionists (or the security guard at the carpark, bouncer at the nightclub etc…) and taking an active step to address habitual tardiness or whatever issue there is… By all means make the point, but being a smartass to a young child is simply unnecessary and probably says more about her lack of self esteem than it does about the real issue at hand.

Sick of little people on power trips making up for never being cool in school themselves, hey, neither were we, don’t have to be a cow about it.

Sorry if this comes across as rude or offensive to anyone, bit sensitive to these scenarios.

Thanks Rick, I have had a couple of little comments under different names but I think they all update now.

Give me a premium forum and a good mechanical keyboard and you might find my post lengths explode.

As for your Australian, Fosters is only for export and shrimps are prawns, but aside from those common misconceptions that was pretty good.

Oh and the wife wouldn’t let me get a shirt that said “the baby ate my dingo” funny thing about that case though, she was right and it took decades to expose the corruption from our cops.

Looking forward to getting more involved, loved ADHD and Mastering it, now I must order the first one.

My son even sat through it with me, well past his bedtime ;-)

Hey Allan, get a r oiling machine and some empty filtered tubes, should still be cheaper but you can meditate making a dozen at night and carry them with you in the day.

Hey Carter123, welcome from another newbie, the hidden handicap floated around my house in the 80s but I never really got it until my son was diagnosed and I decided to have a more mature look. Learning now at 32 and hoping to save him from some of the crap I had to deal with growing up.

Hope to speak with you and swap ideas or just chat

Hi sorry forgot to check the forum again. Yes you can set up a couple of sub calendars in google and only allow them access to one of them. You can even get a linking app for iPhones so you can connect cross platform. I have a family one my wife sees and another one if I need to remember something I don’t want her to know ( like bday presses etc..)

Kindle is a bit like google books I guess, I like using it when on my own waiting, been getting a few books on it lately too.

Other than that I have used Evernote too. Still getting a handle on all this stuff though. Learning to accept

Google calendar linked from my android to the wife’s iPhone seems to work pretty well. She puts things in hers and it reminds me.
