The Name of This Disorder Keeps Changing

The name of this disorder has evolved for the past 150 years. The symptoms of impairment – inattention, distractibility, restlessness and impulsivity remain consistent.

What Was ADHD Called a Long Time Ago?

Didn’t it used to be called something else?
Dr. Steven Kurtz – fidgety phil was first described back in the in the 1800s and was understood that there are a group of kids who had difficulty just behaving like other kids.
