    seeing that viagra and other ED drugs help was surprising at first but not as i got thinking about it. Viagra increases blood flow in the whole body, not just to the penis. So it would make sense that blood flow in the brain is also increased. Could the increased blood flow in the brain help with adhd symptoms too?

    I was seeing a counselor for depression (already knowing i had adhd but not seeing that it was the underlying cause) and after having a exceptionally bad couple weeks (in a job that is NOT for ADHD people) i vented that nothing was going right and i just wish something would go right for me.

    his response: “sounds like you have a maturity problem.”

    what a dick. I should have known he was gonna be trouble when he told me to go get books written by Dr. Phil…

    Is there any connection between refined sugar consumption and ADHD? I had a severe problem with eating sugar, to the point that if i didn’t get it, I became VERY cranky and irritable. There wasn’t even any point in trying to fight cravings as they didn’t go away (had one last for more than 3 hours before i finally gave in). I started Strattera and the cravings started to diminish and finally about a year after starting the meds i kicked sugar to the curb. Is it possible that my brain was medicating itself with the sugar? or was there another cause?
