I know how you feel . I could not do long term sales, due to the uncertainty and most people wanting you to lie to them and then getting angry because you couldn’t deliver. something I had said all a long.

Its always feast and famine.

I always think it is funny, I have co morbid learning disability, reading , righting, visual spacial and a unreliable memory and major depression. the one  place I am in the 93% of all people is my verbal skills.The funny thing is if you meet me on the street you would never guess I have all these issues and a lower than normal IQ.

I still  try to take part in your forums for your credit is that most of you are very excepting. I have tried many things to help me, like the dragon program which I can not train. this is very fusterating and always struggling and being left behind. I can’t concentrate  or focus on almost nothing and ended up some anger management issues.

I don’t understand why the expectations  of others is so important. but  I know the struggle is real. its just like for me the man is the bread winner. so every time people ask me what I do for a living I lie!

For some reason telling them when they ask that I AM A TRAIN WREAK is not the good answer . if it is the truth why the don’t  just not ask!

I just thought al that risky be behaviour was normal.I thought of it as a right of passage. now  I see all the untreated adhd action. growingup the youngest of nine , and a father untreated adhd . no wonder my mother died of a heart attack   at the age of 73. I come from a pretty intense bunch. looking back.LOL

important to remember, that because these great souls are not in the pocket of big pharma . this is the reason we are asked to pay for a premium membership! so that we can all have a small part in keeping all this afloat.

I think it is funny that they all think we all want the drugs. I can tell you all I take 108mg of concertta  and I don’t get high or even get alot from it,but a little focus is worth as much as I can get out of them.

If it was all about getting high we would all be better off getting our drugs on the street! when will the non ADHD world learn it is about small victories ? if it was all about the Drugs there are a lot easier was of getting them. but getting the right meds for the amount is like pulling teeth without meds!!!

I have tested with a low IQ and learning disabilities, all I can say don’t lose hope who you are has not changed just because one doctor does not know enough about adhd. it is now time to get him schooled or find someone who is. it will be a little bit of a hard road. PLEASE !! don’t lose hope. keep fighting you are WORTH the fight .

I believe he is on to something. since I have been taking my SSRI’s  I think my working memory has gone down. I can tell you I am still better off with them then without.
