LOL. Yes, I am perfect. Except of course when I fail to give complete instructions. Instead of asking “Please bring in the shopping bags,” I need to ask, “Please bring in the shopping bags and ensure that the open side of the bags faces up, not down, as you carry them. Signs that something might have gone wrong may include: 1. an empty bag when you enter the house, 2. xmas presents scattered a half block down the street and left overnight getting run over by traffic.” And instead of asking “Could you please grab the laundry from the laundry room”, I need to ask “Could you please grab the laundry from the laundry room and ensure that it is the CLEAN laundry before you fold it and put it away. Signs of clean include no stinking sweat smell on the running clothes, no subway goo on the jeans, and no splatter and tomato seeds sticking to the front of the shirts.”

I love them to death but some days I find it terrifying that I am the ADDer!!Larynxa thank you for the in-depth description and the first-person experience of it. I think I’m edging closer to it. I still might barf.
REPORT ABUSEBut how do you know if your dentist is a true artist? I chose my dentist because he has a wicked sense of humour and he makes me feel so much better about being there. Needless to say, I’m one of those people who has issues about going to the dentist. I’ve been lucky so far — blessed with pretty good teeth-genes.
REPORT ABUSEUgh!!! But he wants to slice the gum open and “peel it back” and I don’t wanna!
REPORT ABUSEHi sdwa, I used to know a good quote about how most learning is merely remembering what we already knew, but I forgot it. Heh heh.
So WRT forgetting to renew your ‘script, would you say the medication helps with your motivation, but not memory?
REPORT ABUSEG, thank you for sharing — this is so relatable. Kc, you kill me! lol
Scared though: I am procrastinating putting a crown on a molar that had root canal years ago because I am a chicken and because I don’t want to pay the thousand dollars. Larynxa, you might have just persuaded me. Yikes.
REPORT ABUSEHow about habit trackers? I am currently testing out Routinely, Habit Goal Monitor, Habit Streak, AndHabits, Fail Log …

REPORT ABUSEThank you for this detailed response, Rick. It’s important to me that this site is not influenced by pharma. I don’t mind ads running on the site. I just wanted to know big pharma isn’t pulling the strings here.

Good point about depression stigma vs ADHD stigma. Depression is trending, and bipolar is next in line. If we work hard enough maybe we can make ADHD next after that.
For sponsors… Maybe Virgin? Richard Branson is supposedly ADHD…Just curious about what I assume must be Dr. Jain’s company, Jainsco Inc., which the site is attributed to along with Big Brain Productions (Rick and Ava). Can we find out who this is (i.e., who is on the board)? Are any directors or employees of pharmaceutical companies directors of Jainsco Inc. — or Big Brain Productions? Are any pharmaceutical companies funders? Advertisers?

I did pay for membership and I’m curious to know.I am more than happy to pay a small subscription fee if it keeps industry influence out of the content.
REPORT ABUSEMisswho, I hope you rock the block with your jewelry today!!!
REPORT ABUSELarynxa, I do the hand-writing thing! I might have to try that for the car. But I really need to find a pen with ink that won’t transfer — I have a habit of leaning my face on my hand and the reminders transfer to my face. Nothing like walking around with CAT FOOD!!! written backwards on your face.
REPORT ABUSELuckily for me, my husband pays the bills, so no late fees (anymore).
There is an expensive camera sitting at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, off the west coast of Vancouver Island …
And there is an expensive set of Oakley sunglasses sitting at the bottom of Lake Simcoe …
And there is a BlackBerry at the bottom of the Atlantic, off of Cape Breton Island …
Kristya, I am dying to hear how you melted a coat! And what the inlaws had to say.
