REPORT ABUSESeptember 5, 2012 at 4:55 pm #111404I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve had enough of the jackharrison posts for information about hernias, teeth, and whatever. You may have seen my response to his query about fillings. After sending it, I had the thought that he may be some kid (or perhaps Rick) who is just getting encouraged by my stupid responses. So I’ll try to restrain myself in the future.

However, this didn’t stop me from going to the site of DR. Wolch and “request more information” under the name of “Jack Harrison.”
I left the number for the suicide prevention hotline as Jack’s contact number and the email address of that “Asian escorts” place in New York. In the comments box I left a link to Jack’s post to this site.
Does anyone know how much trouble I can get into and can I use ADHD as a defense?
PS: Before you get started, I’m not trying to imply that the Asian Escorts have bad teeth. 😳
REPORT ABUSESeptember 5, 2012 at 6:34 pm #111405kc – you have NO IDEA how this made me laugh! Thank you!! I so wish I had your wit.
REPORT ABUSESeptember 5, 2012 at 8:13 pm #111406kc, I think we are alike when it comes to spammer retribution. I’ve given up reporting telemarketers to the FDA. Now when I get a call for replacement windows or roofing, I make an appointment. I ensure that it’s not a time when they have someone in the area to maximize the impact. When the rep turns up, I apologize for his having to come out, but he is only there to take a note back to the office asking them not to call me again. Would you believe one large window company sent reps out two years running.

REPORT ABUSESeptember 6, 2012 at 6:18 pm #111410scatty, in your experience do the small structural supports jump as much as the large ones? we just had our parking assignment changed where we live, and it is an ever-so-narrow space between a small support pole and another car……really no room for jumping poles (or human error)
REPORT ABUSESeptember 6, 2012 at 6:50 pm #111411Why not gently nudge that pole with your front bumper, and see if it’s just a pole, or actually a support pole. You have insurance, right?
REPORT ABUSESeptember 6, 2012 at 8:53 pm #111412g.laiya – I can’t say I’ve ever noticed small structural supports here. There are low metal barriers that get in the way if you pull too far into a space. I think they are designed to stop you for some reason. Total nuisance, although they do work as I have discovered when I have forgotten to stop.
The worse things are those low concrete blocks that lay around. They’re not structural, but they jump up and their mission is to dent the sills under the car. So my car whimpers audibly if we go to a car park with large pillars, small concrete blocks and metal barriers. Triple whammy.
Rick – the problem with insurance is several fold – firstly I have to remember who I am insured with, then find the policy for the number and then remember to fill in the forms. Oh….and then remember to post it. Maybe it’s on line these days?

REPORT ABUSESeptember 7, 2012 at 4:29 am #111414So here’s one of mine to add. I’ve been working on this long project for a book all summer with an illustrator and the people who are funding it. Today I met with the funding committee. So I’ve used some of my add preventative tricks such as dressing well, having my things organized beforehand, plenty of time to get there on time and calm with a list of things to discuss. Stayed on topic, didn’t talk too much got good feedback etc. So successful meeting!
Then I stop at my friends house in-between another appointment. Go to use the bathroom and realized my pants were undone and my underwear was on inside out. Fortunately my well planned top to wear went down enough in front to cover up the undone pants. And who would know about my underwear any way. At least I had it on. Happy that medication has help me organize my world but I am still myself.
REPORT ABUSESeptember 7, 2012 at 6:55 am #111415Oh nellie – I have no chance then!
Misswho23 – it’s good to still be yourself – you sound like a fun person from your posts.
REPORT ABUSESeptember 7, 2012 at 6:58 am #111416I meant to say nellie – I finally gave the builder the list of what needs doing – yesterday! A few days short of the 20th Aug….but it’s done. I know this is the wrong thread! Sorry.
REPORT ABUSESeptember 7, 2012 at 12:35 pm #111417Hey that’s great Scattybird! It must feel good to have gotten it done early to boot!! I’m sure the humour will come when the work gets going, there are bound to be a few ( humorous) glitches along the way !
Actually I was wondering about all the project people yesterday! Got my basement tidied to the point one of my friends who came by remarked that it looked nicely organized. Now that , if you could my basement, would qualify for humour! But she was actually serious and said it was in better shape than hers. I guess things are all relative!
MissWho23, so you’ve learned to “fake it till you make it!”
